January 23, 2007 - ANGIE

This morning was cardio, so I did intervals on the treadmill. I only did 3 of them for total of 12 min. Not much, but my back has been hurting again. I figure something is better than nothing. Right now i am currently getting my hip adjusted routinely to get some things fixed that have needed fixing for a long time! So my chiro suggest no intervals on the treadmill and no walking on the treadmill. Weird huh? Well, I trust his suggestions, so I guess my options for cardio will now be, just running on treadmill, for no longer than 15 minutes and I think I will also add Body Weight circuits that I got from my TT membership (which I will eventually be reviewing on our website). So far my chiro feels that my strength training exercises are all good and actually beneficial to me. He also suggested getting in some pilates. Now that I plan to do as soon as I get a gym membership which I have been pondering on for the past couple weeks. I currently have all I really need here at home, but being a stay at home daycare provider, I NEED adult interaction! So I have gym in mind that has spin, yoga and pilates classes. I'm pretty excited about it, just have to find the time to actually DO it! My eating was good again today. I actually feel better eating less. Hmmm...all that hype about eating more, guess it all depends on your body type and how you feel. Not saying that in time I won't go back up some in calories, but for now, I am feeling good at where I am at. ~Angie
